Spend the morning learning from members of the Partnership for a Sustainable
Georgia, as they share different perspectives on conserving Georgia's natural
resources while facing today's business challenges. During lunch, Governor Perdue and Commissioner Chris
Clark will recognize the 2010 accomplishments of the Partners and winners of the
Conserve Georgia Awards.
Launched by Governor Perdue in 2008, Conserve Georgia is a partnership of Georgia's government agencies, residents, businesses, institutions, and non-profit organizations working together to make Georgia's natural resources more sustainable. Applications for the 2010 Conserve Georgia Awards are available at Conserve Georgia. The deadline for submissions is August 30th, 2010.
The Partnership for a Sustainable Georgia
assists Georgia businesses in using continuous improvement tools to reach better environmental results and a better bottom line. It provides Partners free assistance, opportunities to connect with other leaders, and recognition for sustainability efforts. The program is free and open to any business or organization that operates in Georgia, and is operated by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources' Sustainability Division.
Prices are $75 for Partners of the PSG Program and $100 for all others. Full tables can be purchaced for $500 (ten seats) for Partners and $700 (ten seats) for all others. Includes Breakfast, and Lunch. Morning networking and open-space meeting attendance is optional.
